Five examples of storage devices(ASSIGNMENT)

A hard disk drive^[2] (HDD) is a non-volatile, random access device for digital data. It features rotating rigid platters on a motor-driven spindle within a protective enclosure. Data is magnetically read and written on the platter by read/write heads that float on a film of air above the platters.


A USB flash drive consists of a flash memory data storage device integrated with a USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface. USB flash drives are typically removable and rewritable, and physically much smaller than a floppy disk. 

CD-ROM (pronounced /ˌsiːˌdiːˈrɒm/, an acronym of "compact disc read-only memory") is a pre-pressedcompact disc that contains data accessible to, but not writable by, a computer for data storage and music playback. The 1985 “Yellow Book” standard developed bySony and Philips adapted the format to hold any form ofbinary data.^[2]
A floppy disk is a data storage medium that is composed of a disk of thin, flexible ("floppy") magnetic storagemedium sealed in a square or rectangular plastic carrier lined with fabric that removes dust particles.
A CD-RW (Compact Disc-ReWritable) is a ReWritableoptical disc for reWriting. Known as CD-Writable (CD-RW) during its development, CD-RW was introduced in 1997, and was preceded by the CD-MO, which was never commercially released, in 1990.

Five output devices(ASSIGNMENT)

Monitor - A monitor is the screen on which words, numbers, and graphics can be seem.  The monitor is the most common output device.
Printer - A printer prints whatever is on the monitor onto paper.  Printers can print words, numbers, or pictures.
Speaker - A speaker gives you sound output from your computer.  Some speakers are built into the computer and some are separate.
Disk Drives - A disk drive is used to record information from the computer onto a floppy disk or CD.
Floppy Disk - A floppy disk is used to record information on.  The information is stored on the floppy disk and can be used later or used on another computer.

Five input devices(ASSIGNMENT)

Camera - most cameras like this are used during live conversations.  The camera transmits a picture from one computer to another, or can be used to record a short video.


Compact Disc (CD) - CDs store information.  The CD can then be put into another computer, and the information can be opened and added or used on the second computer. 
Note:  A CD-R or CD-RW can also be used as an OUTPUT device.

Keyboard - The keyboard is a way to input letters or numbers into different applications or programs.  A keyboard also has special keys that help operate the computer.

Mouse - The mouse is used to open and close files, navigate web sites, and click on a lot of commands (to tell the computer what to do) when using different applications.

Digital Camera - A digital camera can be used to take pictures.  It can be hooked up to a computer to transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer.  Some digital cameras hold a floppy disk, and the floppy disk can be taken out of the camera and put directly into the computer.

MY EXPECTATION TO MY INSTRUCTOR

First of all I'm so glad now cause i meet my new instructor in I.T subject. My first impression to him is that he is so intelligent and i think his very good in teaching. I'm looking forward also in this subject that at the end of this semester, I've learned everything to him and also the subject. I am hoping also that he will give us a high grade, higher than 1.0. Joke! That's really a joke. I am hoping also that he will elaborate all topic and lecture that his going to discuss this semester especially how to deals with learning computers and files for me to learned widely, not just for myself but also to my classmates and friends.

Of course to all my true friends and classmates in AB English Lang.2A ,, guys tinabangay lang jud ta. Asa lang gud kong maka graduate tah.. Hehehe.. I am praying that all students in 2A will hopefully graduate in our course. Although this I.T subject is not related to our course but this will help us in our future. Computers is very important to us because we're now in a modern society so we have to learned computers widely for us to be not a losers.. HaHaHA.
